Marissa Levin’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1995 when she launched Information Experts, a strategic communications and education firm. She launched her firm as a solopreneur with a $35,000 contract and led/grew the organization to approximately $13 million in revenue until she resigned in 2012. Under her leadership, Information Experts won more than 80 awards for creativity & leadership, was named to the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies for 2009, 2010, and 2011, won the 2010 SmartCEO GovStar Industry Star Award, and was known as a trailblazer in establishing an extraordinary employee-centric culture that fully supported work-life integration and a core value of “responsible flexibility.”

In 2012, she launched Successful Culture, a leadership consulting organization that helps CEOs master the 3 most critical aspects of business growth: leadership development, strategy formulation & execution, and organizational culture assessment & improvement.

In 2017, Marissa merged Successful Culture with PeopleTactics, a national leader in Strategic HR Consulting to launch Successful Culture International (SCI), a global corporate culture consultancy that leads organizations undergoing significant transformation through a proven model to define, stabilize, and strengthen organizational cultures. SCI also works with emerging companies to help define their corporate cultures so that they can attract, hire, and retain the best talent.

Marissa is the author of the #1 best-selling book “Built to SCALE: How Top Companies Create Breakthrough Growth Through Exceptional Advisory Boards.” Using Marissa’s patented SCALE Model, SCI helps CEOs select and implement highly effective advisory boards which is an essential strategy for any business looking to grow exponentially.

She is also the author of “My Company Rocks: 8 Secrets to a Growth-Driven Culture” and is a contributing author to “You @Work: Unlocking Human Potential in the Workplace.”

Jennifer “Jen” Brown’s love of organizational development and human resources started when she interned during her sophomore year in college with the Association for Training and Development. Having led major corporate functions and advised executives during steady and turbulent times, Jen has extensive first-hand experience in driving organizational change at a strategic level and facilitating rapid personal improvement in individuals.

She has worked in diverse environments, including financial, banking, government contracting manufacturing, professional services, consumer goods, real estate, insurance, nonprofits, legal, hospitality, retail, transportation and utilities. Jen is a business-focused Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness leader who knows that a business is only as strong as its people. Her goal in working with clients is to provide thoughtful, specialized and appropriate business solutions to challenging HR, Leadership and Organizational Development issues.

Jen is continuing her love of change management, HR, and organizational development with the launch of Successful Culture International (SCI). She and her long-time friend and colleague, Marissa Levin, have brought their talents and services together to establish a global corporate culture consultancy that leads organizations undergoing significant transformation through a proven model to define, stabilize, and strengthen organizational cultures. SCI also works with emerging companies to help define their corporate cultures so that they can attract, hire, and retain the best talent.

Jennifer is a frequent speaker on HR and Organizational Development topics and has been featured in the Washington Business Report (WJLA-TV), U.S. News & World Report, Business News Daily, monster.com, recuiter.com, and SMART CEO.

Jennifer has been an adjunct faculty member with the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where she taught several HR courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. She earned a Master of Business Administration (specialized in HR and Organizational Development) and Bachelor of Science (major in Personnel/Labor Relations) from the University of Maryland. Jennifer is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP).
